Terms of Service
Last updated August 6, 2026
1. Who you're agreeing with
AutoDeploy is operated by [legal entity name, e.g. "AutoDeploy, Inc." or your own name if operating as a sole proprietor], registered at [registered business address]("AutoDeploy," "we," "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using AutoDeploy (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on that organization's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.
2. What the Service does
AutoDeploy connects to a GitHub repository you control (via a GitHub App you explicitly install and authorize), analyzes it, and generates infrastructure-as-code — Dockerfiles, CI/CD pipeline configs, Kubernetes manifests, Terraform, and similar files. It can also deploy your application, either by connecting over SSH to a server you already own and control, or — for the Vision feature — by provisioning a real server on your own AWS account via a narrowly-scoped IAM role you create and control. Every generated file is yours to inspect, edit, and use outside AutoDeploy; we don't lock you into a proprietary format.
3. Accounts
You need an account to use most of the Service, created via GitHub OAuth or email/password. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@smilekisan.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Subscriptions & billing
AutoDeploy offers a Free plan and paid Pro/Team plans, billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing period until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges but doesn't retroactively refund the current period — see our Refund Policy for the specifics. We'll give reasonable advance notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
If a payment fails, we'll retry it automatically before restricting your account to Free-plan limits — we don't cut off access the instant a single charge bounces.
5. What you give us access to
Using the Service means handing us some sensitive material to act on your behalf: your GitHub App installation scope, and — if you configure SSH-based deployment — a private key and server credentials, or a Docker Hub token. SSH private keys and Docker Hub tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to perform the deployments you request; we don't use them for anything else. You can remove a stored key or token at any time from your dashboard settings.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use AutoDeploy to:
- Deploy to, scan, or otherwise target any server or network you don't own or aren't explicitly authorized to access — the SSH host and Vision provisioning features are for infrastructure that's actually yours.
- Break any law, infringe anyone's rights, or distribute malware, spam, or illegal content through anything you deploy.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, entitlement checks, or account restrictions, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
- Resell or provide the Service to third parties as your own product without our prior written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with notice where practical.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on and integrates with third parties — GitHub (repository access and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), AWS (email delivery, and for Vision, resources in your own AWS account), and optionally Docker Hub. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We're not responsible for their outages or changes, though we'll do our best to adapt the Service around them.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." Generated infrastructure-as-code is a starting point, not a guarantee — you're responsible for reviewing it before deploying to production, the same way you'd review any code before shipping it. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's described here.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoDeploy won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or data) arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12 months / other period you choose] before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting hello@smilekisan.com. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, with notice where practical and immediately where necessary to protect the Service or other users.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active subscribers directly.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction, e.g. "the State of Delaware, USA" or "England and Wales"], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
